Now that man is poised on the threshold of space, Mars may be the first planet beyond Earth that he will visit. Two pages from the final installment on Mars featured in the popular educational title rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 10.5" x 18". Toning, paste-ups, with some stripped-in and held by paste-ups on the back, blue pencil editorial notes, whiteout corrections, with light staining and creasing/handling wear.
