Description

Irv Novick and Dick Giordano Batman #252 Story Page 10 Original Art (DC, 1973). While trying to figure out how the Spook escaped certain death via execution in the electric chair, Batman suddenly finds himself strapped into one for real -- turning a theoretical mystery into a life-or-death reality! Fortunately, the World's Greatest Detective is also one heck of an escape artist. This page from "The Spook's Master Stroke!" is rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board is toned and trimmed, with whiteout corrections, marginal tape, staining, a "Continued..." stat paste-up, a stripped-in text correction in the final panel, and handling wear. Signed by Irv Novick in the third panel. In Very Good condition.
From the Irv Novick Family Collection.
