Álvaro Martínez Detective Comics #960 Azrael Splash Page 20 Pencils Original Art (DC, 2017). Azrael dominates this crackling splash page, his rage and tension leaping off the board. At this point in the series, Jean-Paul Valley's mental state is rapidly deteriorating, and in this issue's final scene, the spirit within fully rejects its host's humanity, declaring, "There is no Jean-Paul. There is only Azrael!" Rendered in graphite over printed blue lines on DC/Vertigo Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 16". Small stains and whiteout touch-ups. Signed in the lower right.
