Oscar Cesare "Drawing the Curtain" Editorial Illustration Original Art (NY Post., c. 1910s). Cesare's ability to convey complex issues in concise images is well represented in this angry editorial piece showing dead American soldiers, which was rare imagery at the time. Ink and marker with whiteout on illustration paper with an image area of 11.5" x 15". There is moderate toning, marginal tape residue and smudging, spots of whiteout correction, torn edges and corners, and small nicks along the edges.
