John Byrne and Dan Green - Iron Fist #15, page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1977). This X-Men appearance drawn by Byrne precedes his run on the X-Men title, and it's written by Chris Claremont no less! While the fact that Wolverine wears the costume stolen from Fang of the Imperial Guard would indicate that this story follows X-Men #108, this book's cover date of September 1977 puts it three months before Byrne's December 1977 X-debut. Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Colossus are no match for Danny Rand's cataclysmic kung fu moves... when it's the final issue of your series, you might as well give it all you've got!
