The Marvel Age of Comics hit a historic landmark with this fourth issue, featuring the revival and first Silver Age appearance of Captain America, who joins the Avengers team. Sub-Mariner, another Timely character from the Golden Age, also makes an appearance. Jack Kirby's dynamic cover and story art (with an assist from George Roussos) was never better.
