Detective Comics #229 (DC, 1956) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Here's another issue that's a tough quest in high grade, in part because of the unforgiving black color on much of the cover. This one's the finest example of #229 that CGC has certified to date. In this issue you'll find a full page ad for Showcase #1. Win Mortimer cover with interior art by Dick Sprang and Ruben Moreira.
