America's Funniest Comics #2 Carson City pedigree (Wm. H. Wise & Co., 1944) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. This is the first time we had ever seen this funny animal comic, and our offering is the only copy that CGC has certified to date. Since the Carson City collection is famous for first issues, we were surprised to see this #2 -- yet Gerber's Photo-Journal provides the answer to the puzzle by noting that the only other (non-numbered) issue of the title actually followed this one. Overstreet 2007 NM- 9.2 value = $365.
