Description

Greg Irons and Tom Veitch Deviant Slice #2 Cover and More Original Art (Print Mint, 1973). Artist Greg Irons and his writer buddy Tom Veitch created this "Ugly Comix" classic back in the glory days of Undergrounds. They cast an unflinching eye towards such sordid subjects as returning home from Vietnam as a heroin addict, obesity to the extreme, and other fun topics. This intense lot includes the cover illustration, plus the inside front cover (with self-portraits of our two merrymakers) and the back cover, which advertises other UG publications such as Insect Fear and Zap. As a bonus, amberlith color film separations for the front and back covers are included. The art is ink and Zipatone on bristol, with image areas of approximately 9.5" x 13.5". The inside front cover has a storage stain, but otherwise, the pieces are in Excellent condition. Wild stuff, man! A copy of Deviant Slice #2 is included. From the Albert Morse, Esq. Collection.
