Description
Ochazukenori Horror Manga Illustration Original Art (2017). Offered in this lot is an original illustration done by the Japanese manga artist Ochazukenori! With a career starting in 1984, Ochazukenori hit his stride when he released the short story Blind, which had a focus on horror. In 1987, his series The Horror Mansion began serialization, with Ochazukenori fully focusing on horror. Horror quickly became his trademark, and it's what he's most known for to this day. Ochazukenori continues to draw manga to this day, with his series Onnya no Issho currently being serialized. The artwork offered here, dated 2017, features Ochazukenori's signature stylized character design, with large eyes and an equally large, ominous grin. Rendered on a 9.5" x 10.75" gold-trimmed shikishi board, this one-of-a-kind drawing is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
