Description
Pokémon 1st Edition Jungle Uncut Sheet with Ivy Pikachu Black Star Promo (Wizards of the Coast, 1999). Released on June 16th, 1999, the Jungle set is the second expansion set of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This set features Generation I Pokémon, with a focus on the Kanto Safari Zone. Offered here is an uncut sheet from the 1st Edition print run of this set! It includes 11 rows of 11, for a total of 121 cards. Notably one card is not from the Jungle set--it is instead the Black Star Promo Pikachu 1, known as Ivy Pikachu! This promo was released through the Pokémon League in July 1999. The copy on this sheet notably features the 1st Edition stamp though, which was discovered to have been printed as a prototype meant to be the chase card in the Jungle set. Another notable card on this sheet is the Butterfree 33 in the first row, which features the "d Edition" error misprint. The sheet measures approximately 27.75" x 38.25", and has light wear to the edges and corners. The sheet appears to have been printed with insufficient amounts of yellow ink, leading to most of the sheet to have faded yellow borders. There are some light creases across the sheet.
