Description

Marvel Mystery Comics #62 (Timely, 1945) CGC Apparent FN- 5.5 Slight (A) Cream to off-white pages. This would be a solid mid-grade copy even without the restoration efforts CGC describes as: "small amount of color touch on cover, tear seals to cover." The Schomburg cover mixes elements of monstrous captors, defenseless damsel and youth captives, and an abhorrent executioner warranting a flashy Human Torch entrance. Guess that sounds like a few other Timely covers, but it just works Timely after Timely. Good-looking bargain book. Overstreet 2002 FN 6.0 value = $355.
