Captain America Comics #73 (Timely, 1949) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. Even toward the end of the run, outstandingly innovative covers sparked Cap's comic. The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books credits Chic Stone with this imaginative cover, but The Grand Comics Database Project offers up Al Gabriele as a possibility.
