Blue Beetle #52 (Fox Features Syndicate, 1948) CGC VF+ 8.5 Cream to off-white pages. This issue's bondage cover by Jack Kamen pretty much speaks for itself, but we'll note that this was the first issue of the title to feature true crime stories. The book's interior artists include Bob Powell. The "sexed-up" run of Blue Beetle from #47-57 seems to grow more popular by the year, and this is one of the highest-graded copies of this particular issue. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $756; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,166. CGC census 7/05: 2 in 8.5, 3 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
