Syphon Filter 3 - Wata 9.8 A++ Sealed [Original Artwork, First Production], PS1 Sony 2001 USA. This pristine first-production copy of Syphon Filter 3 carries a fascinating backstory. Originally set for release in late 2001, the game was delayed following the 9/11 attacks. Concerns over the post-9/11 anthrax scare led Sony to revise the cover art, which originally featured a U.S. flag shrouded in clouds of gas-an image they deemed too sensitive for the time. While Sony attempted to halt distribution of this original artwork, a limited number of copies still made it into circulation, many as promotional versions with punched UPC codes. However, this copy remains unblemished.
