Battletoads - Wata 9.4 A+ Sealed [Oval SOQ R], NES Tradewest 1991 USA. The population report definitely made waves when it was released, and this title boasts some staggering stats. As of the first population report, Wata has only graded 17 copies of this game in sealed condition, full stop. Of these, only two other copies have the same box grade as this one and only three are higher. Battletoads is the first game in a series of five sequels and spin-offs, and its notoriety was earned by its immense level of difficulty. In fact, it's considered to be one of, if not the most difficult game on the NES. However, its infamous difficulty and personality are what continues to draw in new players who are tempted to take on its challenge. The game features a variety of gameplay styles from beat 'em up, platforming, and racing action. The characters and concept were clearly inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.PSA Population Report
