Batman: Return of the Joker - Wata 9.8 A+ Sealed [Oval SOQ TM], NES Sunsoft 1991 USA. Out of pure coincidence, it just so happens that Wata has only graded 29 copies of this Batman game for the NES as well--the same amount as Batman: The Video Game, offered in the previous lot. While Wata has not yet released the seal rating data as it relates to the population report, this is listed as one of only 13 copies that have managed to earn the highly sought grade of Wata 9.8. The game is not only critically acclaimed, it has its own self-contained story, which starts with the Joker breaking out of Arkham Asylum. And speaking of the Clown Prince of Crime, check out the remarkable cover illustration by the late, great comic book artist and editor Carmine Infantino.
