Star Wars: Droids - The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO Original Production Cel Signed by Anthony Daniels (Lucasfilm, 1985). This rare original production cel features R2-D2 and C-3PO from Star Wars: Droids - The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO, the 1985 animated television spin-off from the original Star Wars trilogy. The series takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and follows the beloved droids as they journey through the galaxy, encountering gangsters, pirates, bounty hunters, the Empire, and a rotating cast of masters. Hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a printed background, this cel captures the charm and personality of the iconic duo as brought to animated life during the mid-1980s. It is signed by Anthony Daniels, the legendary actor and voice behind C-3PO in every Star Wars film and includes a photograph of Daniels signing the cel-making it a special collector's piece for Star Wars fans and animation enthusiasts alike. The cel is matted to 14" x 11" for presentation and features an official Lucasfilm seal in the bottom left corner. Small bit of paper residue on R2D2.
