Bugs Bunny Baseball Bugs Sold Out Limited Edition Cel Signed by Friz Freleng #274/1200 (Warner Brothers, 1990). Inspired by the 1946 theatrical short Baseball Bugs directed by Friz Freleng (1906-1995). In the short, the Gas-House Gorillas take on the hometown Tea Totallers of New York City. The aggressive, hulking "tough-guy" Gorillas are wiping the floor with the frail elderly Tea Totallers when a fan, watching the game from a hole in the ground, starts talking trash to the big bullies saying that he could beat them all by himself. The Gorillas hear him and accept his challenge, which turns out to be a mistake. This is one of the most popular Friz Freleng limited editions ever released. It's a fantastic hand-painted 16 field cel of Bugs Bunny as the trash-talking pitcher. It's presented on a print background of Bugs in other images inspired from the short.
