The Tigger Movie Background Color Key Painting (Walt Disney, 2000). An outstanding background Color Key from The Tigger Movie. This mini-masterpiece is from the hand of art director, Toby Bluth (1940 - 2013). Bluth was a painter, animator, background artist, production designer, theater director, and film director, who has worked on many animated films including Alvin & the Chipmunks, The Smurfs, and Super Friends to mention just a few. In visual arts, color keys are created to understand how light works from pre-production to post. For example; how the color changes from day to night, above water or under water, in full light or a shadow. This little stunner features Piglet's house painted using gouache on 10" x 6" board with a cel overlay. The piece is in a 20" x 15.5" frame with an aperture of 11" x 6". Frame sold as-is.
