Mickey's MouseWorks Pluto Production Cel with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1999). Mickey Mouse made his triumphant debut on Saturday morning TV with this series that premiered on 5/1/99, as part of Disney's One Saturday Morning. Only a handful of the first episodes from this show were produced using hand-painted cels. Presented here is an original production cel of Pluto from "Pluto Runs Away" which first aired on June, 19 of 1999. The 9" x 7" image featuring a full-figure Pluto is on a 16 field 2-cel setup that bears a Disney seal with scene and sequence numbers in the lower right corner. The setup is over its hand-painted Key Master background that bears a studio production stamp in the upper left corner. It's a truly one-of-a-kind piece from this historical Disney television series. The piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity in a clear sleeve mounted to the back of the frame. The art is in a 25" x 22" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 16" x 12".
