Description
"A Tribute to Bob Clampett" Oversized Drawing Original Art by John Kricfalusi (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). Wacky animation king John Kricfalusi pays tribute to one of his heroes, Robert Clampett, in this wild poster-sized mixed-media drawing. John has replicated the Clampett style (with a little of John's Ren & Stimpy look thrown in), featuring Sylvester (lisping "Sufferin' Succotash"), a pop-eyed Porky Pig with three odd-looking "spacemen" in his bed, as seen in the 1946 Looney Tunes cartoon Kitty Kornered. The art is primarily in color markers on a sheet of Bainbrige #80 illustration board measuring 30" x 20". The art is signed (as John K.) in the lower right. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
