Description
Dumbo Circus Elephants Concept Drawing Original Art (Walt Disney, 1941). The elephants line up to do their act, in this rare original concept drawing. Walt would often encourage his artists to draw from life, and this early concept sketch looks like it could have been made at a real circus. It's done in Conte crayon or heavy graphite on lightly textured paper measuring approximately 11.75" x 9.5". The image size is 8.25" x 6.5", and it's housed in a folder-style mat measuring 14.25" x 19.25". There are quite a few areas of small paper loss within the image.
