Star Trek: The Animated Series USS Enterprise Stock Production Cel with Planet Earth Master Background (Filmation, c. 1973-74). The Enterprise zooms away from home planet Earth in this outstanding original hand-painted production cel and Master hand-painted background. This two-season, 22-episode animated series was a worthwhile successor to the original three-season live action series, continuing the crew's "five-year mission." In addition to most of the cast returning to voice their characters, many writers from the 1966-69 series returned as well. The USS Enterprise, one of the most familiar spaceships in science-fiction, has an approximate image size of 6.5" x 2.75". The Earth and starry space production background is from an unknown episode. The cel is actually placed upside-down on the background for aesthetic reasons - the ship would partially obscure the planet; it looks just fine like this, and when framed, nobody will be able to tell difference! Overall condition is Very Good condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
