Allegro Non Troppo Vivaldi "Concerto in C Major" Bee Production Cel (Bruno Bozzetto, 1976). Seen at the 49:47 mark of Bruno Bozzetto's 1976 Italian animated film Allegro Non Troppo, this is a wonderful original production cel featuring the delightful lady bee of Vivaldi's "Concerto in C Major" segment. Inspired by Walt Disney's 1940 film Fantasia, this film featured six segments based on famous classical works of music, two of which are direct parodies of the Disney classic. The segments range from comedy to deep tragedy, and this segment leans much further on the former. It follows the story of a happy little bee enjoying a beautiful afternoon to herself, rudely interrupted by giant, lovey-dovey human picnickers. A celebrated classic of European animated filmmaking, original production artwork from Allegro Non Troppo is exceptionally rare and highly sought after by collectors and historians alike. This 12 field cel has a hand-painted image area of 2.5" X 3.75". The piece is framed under glass with a mat window size of 9.25" x 7.25" and an overall frame size of 15.25" x 13.25".
