Description
Lady and the Tramp Studio Model Sheet Print Group of 8 (Walt Disney, 1955). Featured in this lot is an incredible group of studio model sheet prints from Lady and the Tramp. These model sheets were created in Joe Grant's character model department and would have been used to keep characters consistent throughout the production process. Each model sheet was printed on photographic paper and distributed in small quantities around the studio, and each is highly collectible. All of the model sheet prints in this group are printed on 11'' x 14'' photographic paper and include two with suggestions for Lady and the Siamese cats that were used for the initial pass of the film in 1940. The other model sheets in the lot feature Lady and Lady as a pup, the Siamese cats Si and Am, Peg, Tramp, and the dog catcher. Good to Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and faint rippling at the borders of the paper.Auction Info
