Alice in Wonderland Studio Model Sheet Print Group of 11 (Walt Disney, 1951). Take a trip through the rabbit hole with this stunning group of 11 studio model sheet prints from Disney's wacky and imaginative feature film Alice in Wonderland. The film was considered a flop when it was first released, but is now held in high regards as a classic. These 14'' x 11'' studio model sheet prints would have been created in Joe Grant's character model department where they would be printed on photographic paper and distributed in small quantities throughout the studio. These sheets include Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the King, the Walrus and the Carpenter, the oysters, a ruff sheet for the White Rabbit, Absolem the caterpillar, and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. All of these highly collectible prints have the studio production stamp visible and are incredibly important to Disney's animation process. Each included various expressions and poses to ensure that the characters were drawn on model by the many animators involved, no matter what they were doing in the scene.
