Description
The Little Mermaid King Triton Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "As long as you live in my ocean..." Here's a nice large image of the Sea King from an early scene in the film around the 12:00 minute mark. He is the ruler of Atlantica, an undersea kingdom inhabited by merpeople. As king, he wields the all-powerful trident, which grants him control over the seas. By his late wife Queen Athena, he is also father to seven daughters, the most notable of which is Ariel. This fantastic production cel was hand-painted on 16 field acetate and placed over a background copy/print for presentation purposes. The cel is in a frame of 21" x 16.5" with a matboard aperture of 15" x 10". Frame sold as-is. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
