Description
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Piglet and Winnie the Pooh Production/Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1977). Winnie the Pooh accompanies his friend Piglet as he sweeps in this stupendous 16-field two-layer hand-painted production/color model cel from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Composed of three previously released shorts: Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree (1966), Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (1968), and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (1974), the film was unified by new material featuring Sterling Holloway as Pooh and narrated by Sebastian Cabot. Keeping warm with his scarf and holding a broom, Piglet is showcased, measuring an image size of 2.75" x 3.25", similar to what we see at the 28:13 timestamp. The image of Pooh is comparable to that seen at the 47:09 mark, although without the hat, and shows the Silly Old Bear measuring a great figure size of 5.75" x 5.25". The layers are stapled together and to a board by the top left corner, with Piglet's layer presenting a Walt Disney Production stamp in the bottom left area. Both cel layers are laminated with some lamination separation seen on Piglet's ear area. Presenting light waviness and overall mild handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
