Description
Fist of the North Star Kenshiro Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Toei Animation, c. 1987-88). Presented in this lot is a terrific set of three amazing animation drawings showcasing the protagonist of the post-apocalyptic martial art anime series Fist of the North Star. Numbered A4, A5, and A6 in the top right corner, the drawings render the 64th successor of the Hokuto Shin Ken in graphite with details and shading added in colored pencils, all on 12 field sized animation paper. A4 features Kenshiro as his strength has torn apart his clothes, measuring 10.5" x 7.75". Drawing A5 has a fantastic portrait of the character with a great stoic look on his face, measuring 4.25" x 5.75". Fully detailed, drawing A6 has a fantastic image of the hero with his arms extended, measuring 10.25" x 6". Drawing A4 has some edge wear, yellow staining along the edges, and has a small piece missing next to the left peghole. The three drawings show some paint from the production cels, and they show some handling wear from production use. The overall condition is Very Good.More information about Toei.
