Description
The Pink Panther "Super Pink's Egg-cellent Adventure" Pink Panther and Car Production Cel Setup with "Pink Encounters" 26.25'' Master Pan Background (MGM, 1993/c. 1993-96). Pink is back as his alter-ego, Super Pink! Presented in this lot is a charming 2-layer 12 field production cel setup from 1993's The Pink Panther. This superhero persona was introduced in an episode in 1966 where he tries to help various citizens in danger. Pink made a few appearances as Super Pink in the 1993 series and this production cel of him can be found at about 5:28 in Season 1 Episode 17 airing on 10/17/1993. Another cel of Pinky's car is featured in this lot, though it is not from either of the Super Pink episodes. Both cels are presented on a stunning hand-painted Master pan production background of the Grand Canyon National Park rendered in gouache and conté crayon on background board. The background can be found at roughly 0:10 in episode 14 of Season 1 "Pink Encounters" airing on 9/30/93. The cels measure about 9.25'' x 4.75'' combined while the background is 26.25'' x 10.25''. The top cel includes a FFE seal in the lower right. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, and light wear on the linework.Auction Info
