Two Chips and a Miss Chip, Dale, and Clarice Storyboard Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1952). The two mischievous chipmunks try a taste of romance in this 1952 Walt Disney short. In the short, entitled Two Chips and a Miss, Chip and Dale both receive an invitation from an alluring female chipmunk to come watch her perform at a night club. Both chipmunks are immediately lovestruck, and they spend the majority of the short fighting for her attention. This short was the introduction of the female chipmunk, whose name is Clarice. In this lot are two fantastic pastel storyboards from the development of this short. The first board depicts Clarice during her performance, while the other drawing depicts the two feuding chipmunks, with Dale looking smitten by Clarice and Chip telling him to "snap out of it." The storyboards both measure 8.5" x 6". This cartoon was Clarice's only appearance in a Disney theatrical short! These wonderful, colorful storyboards are in Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, as well as smudging.Auction Info
