Description
Bugs Bunny Original Illustration by Chuck Jones (Chuck Jones, c. 1978). Legendary animator and director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) received his formal art training at Chouinard Art College where he was exposed to an array of artistic methods and techniques. Jones applied both his technical skills and his great sense of humor to the cartoons he created at Warner Brothers, leading to some of the most beloved Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts of all time. This is an original piece of art by Jones himself depicting one of Warner Brothers' most memorable characters, Bugs Bunny. This drawing, created with graphite on trimmed Chuck Jones stationery, is believed to have been created around the time that A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court was released, over 40 years ago! The humorous drawing measures about 8" x 8" on the 8.5" x 10" paper. It is in Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, including minor toning, minor creasing, and minor staining.Auction Info
