Description

The Fox and the Hound Young Copper and Chief Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1981). "He's just a little runt now, but he'll grow. You might as well get used to him, Chief." Amos Slade's old hunting dog Chief is introduced to new puppy Copper, but the old boy wants nothing to do with him in the beginning of this heartwarming animated film. Here the two dogs are in an original hand-painted two-level 16 field production cel. The cels are from the same scene but are found seconds apart; Copper is seen at about the 11:13 timestamp and Chief three seconds later. The cels have a combined image area of approximately 10.5" x 7.5" and include a Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right. The cels are matted and framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 22" x 18". The wooden frame includes a Disney Certificate of Authenticity on the back side. The brown plastic coating is starting to peel along the top and bottom right corners. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cels are in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling.
