Description
The Fox and the Hound Copper and Chief Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1981). Old Chief and the not-quite grown Copper go sniffing for prey in the newly fallen snow in this great two production cel scene. A weary-looking Chief is seen in this pose at about the 36:18 timestamp as he shuffles along. Copper can be found a few seconds later, at 36:24" as he sniffs through the cold, with a small snowdrift beside him. Together the cels measure approximately 9.75" x 5.5". The top cel includes a Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right and is matted and framed with glass for an overall size of 19" x 16". A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back side. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cels appear to have been laminated (a common practice at the Disney Studios in the 1990s) but with no haloing or other obvious problems associated with lamination. The condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
