Description

Pete's Dragon Elliott Color Model Cel, Original Storyboard Signed by Ken Anderson, and Publicity Photo (Walt Disney, 1977). Elliott shows off his vibrant personality in this original storyboard signed by Disney Legend Ken Anderson (1909 - 1993), color model cel, and publicity photograph! The 16 field color model cel is full figure with Pete's best friend warming himself by a tiny fire, found at roughly 1:03:22 just before Pete rushes into the cave to show him his new clothes. The mixed media storyboard, protected with a trimmed cel taped at the edges, was created for the scene at about 54:42 when Pete scares Hoagy and Lampie out of their mind while they try to find him in the cave. It was created and signed by Ken Anderson, who joined the studio in 1934 and was a screenwriter, art director, and animator as well as Elliott's creator. Finally, the publicity photograph features Lampie's actor Mickey Rooney having a little talk with a model of Elliott behind the scenes. These fantastic pieces of the Oscar-nominated film are a must-have for collectors! The storyboard is mounted on 8'' x 10'' board, the photo at 8.25'' x 10'', and Elliott measuring roughly 10.25'' x 7.5'' on the color model cel and displayed in a 20'' x 16.25'' mat with a COA on the back. Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint paint wear.
