Charlotte's Web Charlotte and Charlotte's Children Production Cel Setup with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids Production Background Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). "Wilbur never forgot Charlotte, although he loved her children and grandchildren dearly. None of the new spiders ever quite took her place in his heart. She was in a class by herself." Presented is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel featuring the titular spider Charlotte from Hanna-Barbera's 1973 feature film Charlotte's Web. This piece is a wonderful image of the character, composed of two cels displayed on a hand-painted custom background. In addition, this lot includes a production cel setup of 12 cels featuring Charlottes' children, a rare sequence seen at the 1:32:17 mark of the film in its last moments. These cels are displayed on an original production background from the Hanna-Barbera series Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids, rendered in gouache on board. The background was made for the episode "The Gold Caper." Each 12 field setup shows minor handling and edge wear, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
