Description
Cinderella Mice Color Model Cel Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1950). Offered in this lot is a wonderful trio of hand-painted and hand-inked color model cels from Disney's iconic 1950 animated film, Cinderella, showcasing the beloved mice that help our protagonist. A two-layer 12-field color model cel offers a stupendous image of three female mice together, measuring an overall image size of 4.25" x 4", featuring their upper bodies in one layer and the lower on the bottom layer, showing the note "Seq. 23 Sc. 33" on the bottom edge. Suzy Mouse is shown with a needle in the next color model cel, showcasing an image size of 5" x 3.75", displaying "Seq. 23 sc. 50" on the bottom edge. Noted "Standard Jaq" and "Seq 1.2" on the bottom edge, Jaq is shown in full figure, measuring 3" x 3.5" on his color model cel. The three cels show the production code for the movie, "2063," on the bottom edge. The cels show paint residue from other cels, with Jaq and Suzy's presenting the most. Some staining can be seen on the cels showing Suzy and the three mice. In Fair to Good condition with some handling and edge wear from production.From the Ken O’Connor Archive.
