Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Grumpy Rough Animation Drawing by Bill Tytla Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1937). This lot features an amazing sequence of three rough animation drawings created by the remarkable animator and Disney Legend Bill Tytla (1904 - 1968) featuring the temperamental Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. One of Tytla's most famous animated scenes, this sequence of drawings shows rare images of Grumpy changing his characteristic frown for a happy face after the lovely Snow White kisses him at about the 1:07:49 mark of the film. The expressive drawings are all done in graphite on 12-field 5-peghole animation sheets numbered 125, 129, and 133 in the bottom right corner. Drawing 129 also presents orange color pencil. The three drawings show normal age-related toning. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.From the Famed Disney Animator Bill Tytla Archive.
