Walt Disney World - Disney-MGM Studios The Great Movie Ride Alien Scene Computer Screen Prop (Walt Disney, c. 1980-90s). From the immersive dark-ride The Great Movie Ride, we have in this lot a sensational prop of a computer screen from the hair-rising Alien scene. Taking guests on a tour through some of the most emblematic films in history, The Great Movie Ride opened its doors on May 1, 1989, featuring scenes from famous Gangster and Western films, as well as Raiders of the Lost Ark and, as seen in this lot, Alien. This prop features an exciting Easter egg: the last line of code from the attraction's Witch animatronic, along with the time it took to program. Eric Jacobsen did the programming for the Witch, the first A-100 figure used by Disney. The Great Movie Ride closed on July 15, 2017, and was replaced with Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. This 14" x 11" transparency shown as part of the Nostromo displays mostly binary code and is featured taped to a 15" x 12" board. In Very Good condition with minor display wear.Auction Info
