Description
Naruto "Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!" Naruto as Demon Wind Shuriken with Shadow Clone Animation Drawing Sequence of 23 (Pierrot, 2002). "The purpose of the Shadow Clones wasn't to take down Zabuza, but to hide my transformation! I left one clone behind and transformed into a Demon Wind Shuriken, then the clone threw the real me to Sasuke." A transformed Naruto and one of his identical Shadow Clones put the plan in motion across this marvelous sequence of 23 original animation drawings from the ninth episode of his titular series, "Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!" Debuting early in the first season of the wildly popular shonen series on November 28, 2002, this Naruto episode follows Team 7 and the bridge builder Tazuna continue their unexpected battle after being ambushed by the rogue ninja Zabuza in the previous episodes. Having completed his unnoticed transformation, blade-form Naruto and his last remaining Shadow Clone can be spotted beginning near the 6:14 timestamp in a near-monochrome scene with a Zipatone-style effect indicating a minor flashback to explain the workings of his and Sasuke's successful combined attack. The disguised ninja and his clone have been rendered in graphite and colored pencil nearly edge-to-edge in each drawing with an average frame-filling image area of 10.5" x 8.5" across the dynamic 12 field sequence of 23 drawings which are numbered A27 - A49 END in the top right. Naruto was digitally colored meaning no production cels were used in the creation of this series; animation drawings like these are some of the only physical production artwork so don't miss out! With typical handling and edge wear including minor corner/edge fold and slight surface wear, overall this absolutely kinetic sequence is in Good to Very Good condition.More information about Pierrot.
