Dragon Tiger Gate Tiger Wong and Oponent Original Art by Tony Wong Chung-loong (Jade Dynasty Group, c.2000-10s). From the influential Chinese Manhua Dragon Tiger Gate, we have in this lot an incredible original art piece featuring Tiger Wong going head-to-head against his mighty opponent. Debuting in 1970, the momentous manhua, known in the West as Oriental Heroes, tells the story of the three main characters, leaders of the titular martial art school Dragon Tiger Gate, as they fight dangerous criminal forces, and was adapted into the 2006 action movie by Wilson Yip of the same name. This detailed piece of one of our three protagonists in the middle of a thrilling fight is done in ink over a printed copy of the sketch, measuring an overall image size of 11.75" x 15.25". The drawing shows light handling and edge wear, with some whiteout on the image. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
