X-Men: The Animated Series "The Phoenix Saga Part 4: The Starjammers" Production Cel and Master Background (Fox/Marvel, 1994). Here's a great image of Gambit with an Ace of Spades in hand. This is a production cel from "The Phoenix Saga Part 4: The Starjammers" the sixth episode of X-Men: The Animated Series. In this episode the X-Men fail to protect the M'Kraan Crystal from intergalactic pirates called Starjammers who plan to sell it to D'Ken as well as to use Cyclops as an assassin. Phoenix transports the X-Men to the crystal but D'Ken succeeds in unlocking its power. This LARGE image of Gambit is hand-painted on 21" pan size acetate and paired with a hand-painted Master pan background from the episode "Love in Vain". Gambit measures an impressive 15" x 7" in this incredible piece of animation art. The artwork exhibits edge wear with tape and tape residue in the borders otherwise, condition is Very Good.Auction Info
