Walt Disney Company Rare Studio Employment Brochure with Application and "The Ropes" Handbook Group of 3 (Walt Disney, c. 1938-43). A terrific assortment of three pieces of vintage Walt Disney Studio ephemera offering a fascinating glimpse into studio life during the late 1930s and early 1940s. Included is An Introduction to the Walt Disney Studios, a 6" x 9" handbook created to familiarize new employees with the studio's operations and animation process. Accompanying it is The Ropes, a 4" x 6" employee guide outlining the "dos and don'ts" of daily studio life, including safety practices and proper use of shared spaces. Rounding out the lot is an original two-sided Disney Studio employment application, a rare surviving document from this golden era of animation. Together, these pieces reflect the professionalism, creativity, and organization that helped define Walt Disney's growing enterprise as it transitioned into a major entertainment force. A wonderful collection of early studio materials for any Disney historian or collector. Condition is Good with expected age-related toning.
