Description

The Flintstones Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Publicity Cel and Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960s). The Flintstones is Hanna Barbera's first primetime network show, and the very first animated sitcom. It ran from 9/30/60 to 4/1/66 on the ABC network and featured a modern stone-age family from the town of Bedrock. From the early days of The Flintstones comes this fantastic publicity cel featuring Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. Publicity cels are hand-painted at Hanna-Barbera's ink and paint department and often used by the marketing team for press and consumer products for merchandising items like children's books, calendars, clothing designs, and toys. This adorable image was hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a hand-painted production background from the series. The piece is matted to 13.75" x 10.75" with a matboard aperture of 9.5" x 7.5". Condition is Very Good.
