Dragon Ball Z Captain Captain Ginyu Production Cel Group of 2 with Production Background and Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, c. 1989-96). Presented in this lot is a great collection of two hand-painted production cels and an animation drawing highlighting the eponymous leader of the Ginyu Force. The proud fighter is featured in the production cel numbered A6 in the top right corner, measuring a great figure size of 8.75" x 6.75", presented on a trimmed hand-painted production background (possibly from a different series) of a gorgeous landscape rendered in gouache on 10.5" x 9" background board. Captain Ginyu is featured in a similar pose in the animation drawing A-4, presenting the body-shifting character done in graphite with colored pencil shading and details. Showing one of his extravagant poses, the mighty mercenary is featured, measuring a figure size of 8.75" x 7.75". Both production cels show fading ink on the linework, with A9 showing some paint wear on the bottom edge, and A6 has adhered to the production background. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.
