Dragon Ball Z Krillin Production Cel Group of 3 with Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Toei Animation, c. 1989-96). A Krillin fan must have found the Dragon Balls! Presented in this lot are three hand-painted production cel, accompanied by their animation drawings showcasing the strongest human on earth, the skilled martial artist Krillin. Introduced in the original Dragon Ball series as a rival to Goku, also wanting to be trained by Master Roshi, Krillin started as a character who little by little grew as strong as the beloved protagonist, creating a bond between the two and developing into a close friendship that has lasted through the different installments in the series. Numbered B3, A2, and A2 in the top right conrer, each of the production cels have Krillin with a fierce look on his face, wearing his Turtle Hermit School dogi, measuring 4.25" x 5.75 in cel B3, 5.5" x 7 in A2, and 8.5" x 4.75" on the drawing A2 that has Krillin from a low angle. The matching animation drawings are rendered in graphite with graphite and colored pencil shadings and details. Except for drawing A-2 END, which shows Krilling from a low angle, the rest of the animation drawing have adhered to the back of the production cels, with A-2 END showing some paint residue from the production cel. The cels present fading ink on the linework, and overall, the lot is in Very Good condition with light handling and edge wear from production.
