The directorial debut of Hayao Miyazaki, Future Boy Conan was a formative series for the legendary animator, featuring themes and story elements Miyazaki would later explore in his celebrated films with Studio Ghibli. In addition to directing, Hayao Miyazaki even contributed to many character designs and storyboards for the series. This fascinating piece features myriad vehicle designs of aircraft, nautical ships, cabins, weapons, and cockpits, rich with detail and imaginative mechanical designs seen throughout the series.
