Description

Trail Mix-Up Original Storyboard Art Pair by Thom Enriquez (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1993). "Jeepers, there must be something in here we can eat!" Roger dutifully searches for food for he and Baby Herman on their camping trip, but the baby is a little distracted in this pair of original storyboards created by Thom Enriquez for the Roger Rabbit short Trial Mix-Up. The short was released on 3/12/1993 and was the third and final Roger Rabbit shorts created after the success of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It had a similar premise as Roger tried to protect little Herman from danger, though this time he was faced with bees, beavers, and a sawmill. Enriquez, a longtime story and concept artist involved at Disney, DreamWorks, Universal, and more, has signed one of them and both are rendered in color pencil, ink, and artist marker. The first has Roger frantically searching for food similar to 3:21 in the short with alternate dialogue and the second is likely to have been created for the sequence at around 4:43. Both are in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and a small area of residue.
From the Noted Disney Concept and Story Artist Thom Enriquez Collection.
