Description

Casshan: Robot Hunter The Black King Production Cel and Animation Drawing (AIC/Harmony Gold, c. 1993-94). The Black King stands in a fantastic and large pose in this spectacular hand-painted original production cel from the anime film Casshan: Robot Hunter. Based on the 1973 anime series Neo-Human Casshern and adapted for North America from a four-volume OVA series, Casshan: Robot Hunter tells the story of mankind's war with super-robots originally design to help civilization from ecological cataclysm. The sinister Black King of the Neoroids is featured here measuring an enormous 11.75" tall on the 10.25" x 15" cel. The cel is accompanied by its matching original animation drawing rendered in graphite and color pencil an animation paper of the same size. Both pieces are numbered A2 in the upper right corner, and the cel's paint has adhered it to the back side of the drawing. The cel and drawing show minor handling and edge wear with the cel showing some light wrinkling in places. The drawing shows some paint debris, and the condition is Very Good.
